Shootsac is thrilled to be part of the most recent PPA (Professional Photographers Association of America) Product Round-Up highlighting --
Camera Bags with Style.
Of course, it made perfect sense to feature Shootsac's first camera bag -- the TOTE & SHOOT
After looking at all the bags listed in the product round up, one thing that really stood out for me was just how UNIQUE the Tote & Shoot really is! The idea of an outside pocket that holds the camera READY-TO-SHOOT is so smart. AND is no where near the norm in professional camera bags.
Every other bag (not just most of them) I'm talking EVERY SINGLE OTHER BAG listed -- shows an inside configuration like this: camera body separated from the lens.
Which got me to thinking - hummm,... when exactly is this configuration useful?
On an airplane - YES.
In the trunk of my car - YES.
In the closet - YES.
And when would it make gobs and gobs MORE SENSE to have easy-access to a camera that's actually READY TO SHOOT?-- (plus have room to carry other stuff? OMG!)
At an engagement shoot with clients - YES.
At Disneyland with my nephew -- YES!!!
On vacation with my boyfriend -- YES!
I have to be honest, sometimes I feel like my mother always talking about "sensible shoes" -- but when you think about it -- I really DO want my camera bag to WORK for me. Don't you?
I want my camera bag to support me while I shoot and it would be great if it didn't suck the rest of the day either.
The new TOTE & SHOOT by Shootsac is now available in 5 colors and comes with a removable messenger strap.
If you hurry - you can still get one in time for Christmas - or you can save $30 and have yours delivered in 2013.
We've also got FREE SHIPPING the whole month of December and FREE gifts if you order the Tote & Shoot Gift Set.
"I just, literally just, got my tote & shoot from the UPS man, tore into the box and have to say I'm in love! I put my 5D with battery pack (with 24-70 attached) in the camera pocket and it fit! Do you know how hard it is to find something to fit that? I then proceeded to put my 70-200 in the inside neoprene sleeve and voila! I'm ready to go! This is what I've been looking for! I absolutely adore my shootsac and you'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands for shoots but it won't fit my camera with battery pack so it's not convenient for going out, etc. There are so many times where I'm going out (with kids, family, school functions, vacation, etc.) and want to take my camera but don't want to take my camera bag and this is perfect! PERFECT! Can't thank you enough! And I can take my iPad, hee hee! I'm just so giddy! It's everything you said it would be! " - Niki Gale

Last year, a fashion forward Shootsac owner in New York sent us a request. She wanted a sparkly cover for her Shootsac lens bag.
"Wondering if you guys ever thought about doing a sparkly Shootsac cover?! I'm an event photographer on Long Island (New York) and do a lot of high-end weddings/mitzvahs...I tend to wear sparkly shirts under my black pant suit and would love a super-classy cover to match" -- Ruth
We thought it was a great idea!!!! So I set out to find a fabric that would work as a cover for a Shootsac or a Hip Slip. Unfortunately, every time I had a sparkly sample made -- it left a trail of glitter bits all over my car, my house and the office. Drats!
I was totally discouraged until this Fall, when I finally found 2 great fabrics that shimmer and shine but leave no trace behind :)
Check out 2 new holiday covers: SHIMMER and DISCO!
And Ruth, incase you don't want to mix your sparkles -- check our 50 Shades of Black Covers from this Fall. The Black ribbons, circles and rosette covers are fantastic for black covers that are elegant and dressy but won't compete with your outfit!
Shootsac is happy to introduce you to our newest online retailer: Cambags. Find them at Cambags www.cambags.com.au.
My name is Sandi and I am the owner of Cambags in Australia. I am a Mum of two beautiful children, Reece who is 9 and Erin-Lee who is 5. We are originally from South Africa and relocated to Australia in 2007 when my daughter was just 7 weeks old. Yes… it was a huge challenge and adjustment.
I originally got into photography as I wanted to be able to take decent photo’s of my children. As time went by, I grew to dislike my ugly black camera bag and went on a mission to find something stylish and feminine.
I have been thinking for a while now nice how it would be to have access to some functional, stylish and unique photography accessories in Australia, without having to look at the USA for these items. So after investigations and discussions with a few suppliers including Shootsac, Cambags was born.
I have many photographer friends around the world and many of them swear by their Shootsac. In fact, when I asked them for advice on camera bags, many of them mentioned how invaluable their Shootsac is, with it's ability to hold their lenses, flashes etc safely on their body whilst shooting.
I look forward to growing Cambags into a name photographers throughout Australia will know and come to for their stylish and functional photographic accessories.
For further information, please visit me at Cambags or my Facebook page Facebook
Welcome to the Shootsac team, Sandi. We are very pleased to be able to server Australian customers through you.
