If there's one thing I can never get enough of, it's a good OUTLET SALE!! One thing that I've always loved about our brand is that we run very limited editions of a lot of covers. Now, this month, we are celebrating October! Here in California, October is just another month, but I LONG for my East coast days where October meant FALL! I was lucky enough to travel back East to Central NY this weekend for a beautiful wedding in Cazenovia, a quaint little town bustling with golden edged trees and fall produce on every corner. I even picked myself up a knit hat and scarf--I'm a winter optimist!

As a North Carolina girl for part of my life (high school and college--go Pack!), I must admit, I'm a fan of a good pair of cowboy boots...especially attached to a good cowboy!
When we came across this fabulous distressed fabric, we here at Shootsac knew that we found the perfect cover for a rugged man, cowboy or not. Gentlemen (and ladies), have you met COWBOY?
This cover and fab boots are attached to California's own Kentucky boy, photographer Victor Sizemore. His affinity for hunting, bourbon, and an all around good time are just a few of his cowboy qualities that we love (oh, and his stunning photos!)
This week (through late in to the night on Sunday), we are celebrating two things: our Cowboy covers and SHOES in general! So in the spirit of this:

Hey September, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, it's good to see you! It's been awhile since you've been here--one year to be exact! You've always been one of my favorite months. When I was a kid, I always knew that when you showed up it meant back to school shopping, a new year to be excited about, and the beginning of new possibilities. Now that I'm an adult I love you for being a holiday and obligation-free month in a slew of months where you have to dress up, buy gifts, travel, and generally blow your budget. You are the peaceful calm before the storm, a month that's not too hot or too cold, and just generally a lovely month to have around.
And for all of you babies (and former babies) who were born this month, a big 'ol HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you!
