It's that time of year--preparation for the WPPI tradeshow in VEGAS! We're looking for some volunteers to help us out at the booth--we need a setup/tear down crew, and a few dedicated shootsac users to help us out on the tradeshow floor Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
It is a VERY exciting show for us because we'll be launching the HIP SLIP in Vegas this year, which is our RAD new laptop bag! Finally, something new to use with all those beautiful shootsac covers!!
If you are interested in one of these poorly paid, yet highly rewarding and APPRECIATED positions, please send an email to info@shootsac.com where Matt & I will be making the schedule! If you don't know, the dates are Feb. 15-19. We NEED you! You'll get free shootsac gear and lots of hugs for helping us out :)
Every day this week, I will be posting a new photo of the shootsac on a great photographer in a cool place! If you've got one of these for me, send it in to flamingo@shootsac.com to be featured here!
Today, here's a great shot of Andrea Ackerman who spent her first anniversary at the Grand Canyon with her husband. Thanks for sending this awesome shot Andrea!!

Hi Shootsac land! I'm sorry I haven't visited in awhile, but among the things that are going to be happening in 2009 for Shootsac is the gentrification of this blog. Yes, an overhaul! A fresh look, some fun games, and the beginning of a new program and community for shootsac owners worldwide! Billboards, jets, ships named the HMS Shootsac...well, no, maybe not all that, but big things are coming for sure.
I flew out to Vegas for a night earlier this week to attend the SPA event (that's Senior Portrait Artist for those of you who don't know), and spent a few days at their tradeshow. I was totally blown away by how cool the people were that attended that show and how much fun they were having! It made me really excited to get back to Vegas next month for WPPI, and a good time was had by all. I also won a little poker tournament while I was out there, which was quite fun :)
Here's a short little video for you from the tradeshow floor:
and here's a little one from my post-poker win at 5am:
