| Now that we're in the heart of WINTER (albeit a mild one in most parts of the country), I find myself dreaming today about being somewhere warm and sunny with an umbrella in my drink. Of course, in my dream, I'm there because I was hired to shoot an amazing wedding or destination job, and I'm relaxing afterwards, which is why my SHOOTSAC would also be in this dream!
This shot was from December when I flew down to the Cayman Islands to photograph a stunning wedding on the sand. My second shooter Katie snapped this one while we shot a day after session of the couple: |

| It's that time again..WPPI!! We get SO excited every year when WPPI is around the corner--the buzz, the excitement...it's just SO much fun!
One thing that makes it even MORE fun is building our Fabulous Flock of Volunteers to help out at our tradeshow booth! Since this year our booth is bigger than ever, we need YOU to help out! Here's what we need: Sunday, Feb. 19: from 10:00am-2:00pm: 6 people to assist with booth set up Monday, Feb. 20: 2 Bag Assemblers from 9:45am-1:00pm 2 Bag Assemblers from 12:45pm-4:00pm 2 Tote Bag Distributors from 9:45am-11:00am 2 Tote Bag Distributors from 12:45pm-2:00pm Tuesday, Feb. 21: 2 Bag Assemblers from 9:45am-1:00pm 2 Bag Assemblers from 12:45pm-4:00pm 2 Tote Bag Distributors from 9:45am-11:00am 2 Tote Bag Distributors from 12:45pm-2:00pm Wednesday, Feb. 22: 2 Bag Assemblers from 9:45am-1:00pm 2 Bag Assemblers from 12:45pm-4:00pm 2 Tote Bag Distributors from 9:45am-11:00am 2 Tote Bag Distributors from 12:45pm-2:00pm Wednesday, Feb. 23: Break Down Booth (4:30pm-?): 4-6 Volunteers WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Lots! Depending on how many shifts you take you will earn: -Two Covers -A Shootsac -A RED Tote and Shoot So if you want to volunteer, please do the following RIGHT AWAY (the slots fill up fast): 1. | ROLL CALL!! Who out there is heading to Imaging USA this weekend?? Well, although we won't have a booth of our own, we WILL be camped out at the DURY'S BOOTH showing off our brand new baby, the Tote and Shoot!

| Happy New Year!! One thing I really love about the New Year is the freshness of everything, like ANYTHING is possible! It's a time to reflect on the past year and see on a bigger scale what was accomplished. Now that the holidays are over, it's the time to focus on what I'd like to accomplish this year and actually MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!!
One thing that Shootsac made happen this past year is finally launching our TOTE AND SHOOT after several years of development. As a company that strives to make products that care as much about function as style, it takes time! But our time is now! The next step is letting even MORE people know who we are, what we're about, and how we can help them become a better photographer, a more effective traveler, and add style while they're doing it. Which is what leads me to OUR BIGGEST GIVEAWAY EVER!! From NOW till JANUARY 15TH, I need PHOTOS of your Tote and Shoot! Here is what I am looking for -photos that show the Tote and Shoot in great locations (country, city, jungle, waterfall, anything!!) -photos that show what's IN your Tote and Shoot -photos of YOU using your Tote and Shoot Basically photos that show you, the bag, and your stuff traveling, shooting, and generally having fun! We will be using your photos on this blog, in our email blasts, in our newsletter, and at WPPI.
