Background Info: Jessica Strickland, blonde, hazel eyed, 5'5 (just kidding....ha!)...From Indianapolis, Indiana, grew up in California but came back to Indiana because there is nowhere like the Midwest...degree in Photography...Shooting weddings and anything else fun & cute since 2000 and having a blast doing it! ;) If it matters..I actually planned to go into fashion photog...had a job lined up with Banana Republic...but after learning that commercial work had very limited creative freedom, I decided that the fun & creative freedom that weddings allowed for was perfect for me! It's also pretty rockin to be in a job where it's the happiest day of a persons life, with weddings....and you get to witness awesome moments...like with pregnancy, new babies, etc! I love it!
What I personally love about Jessica's work is that she is so good at capturing absolute joy at weddings! She has a definite style that carries through not only her photos, but her entire personality as well. She's an awesome girl and I'm so excited that someone as stylish and cool of her is a shootsac owner. Check out some of Jessica's work below!
Thanks also for these photos of when you received your new bag:

On Thursday, I got to swing by our shipping facility and I could not have been happier about what I saw! First of all, the business they are running there is like a well-oiled machine. It was so cool to see this crew of people there assembling the shootsac packages and shipping them off. Also, our rep there is SO nice and so cool, and took the time to really show me around the whole place, introduce me to everyone, and let me photograph what was going on. I know ya'll are waiting patiently (well, some of you aren't THAT patient, but I don't blame you at all!) for these shootsacs, and I am really proud to be able to tell you that they are on the way. Check it out:
Also, I mentioned this on the Jessica Claire Blog, but as you receive the bags and start shooting with them, send photos of you wearing and using the bag to flamingo@shootsac.com! If our crew likes your creative photos of the bag and/or you with the bag, we would love to feature you on an upcoming entry of "show your sac" where we will showcase you and your work! Just send small files, when we're ready to do the feature, we will request larger ones.
Happy shooting!

This is incredibly exciting--bags ordered in Vegas are shipping as we speak! Everyone who ordered at WPPI was told between May 15 and June 1st, and here we are on the 17th, two days into the shipping process as planned. It is going well and bags are flying out of the shipping center--I'm going to try to get up there today to shoot a few photos of the shipping process.
We are also just a little while away from launching the new SHOOTSAC website. Commerce websites are a little harder to set up than regular photography websites! The site is going to be so smooth and so easy to use, it is totally worth the wait.
