The other big news is that gift certificates are now available! When you go to the shootsac site, you'll see a tab at the top that says, "gift certificates". Isnt' it so fun that you can now give a gift certificate for birthdays, holidays, photographers who referred you jobs, friends in need of fashion, your wife, your husband, and for any reason at all?
Some of you are going to be lucky enough to receive gifts from the most thoughtful men. I am tickled pink every time a man calls me and says he wants to buy a Shootsac and True Color Cover for his wife or girlfriend, or partner. We have shipped them for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries and big trips. I love helping them pick covers for you -- but honestly most of them -- already know EXACTLY what you want. So romantic!
I have to be honest though...I feel a little bad for the guys! We think the Shootsac makes an equally good gift for the male photographer. Help us rescue them from the photovest. The other day I ran into someone I've been wanting to meet for ages, So. Cal's own fab portrait photographer, Tara Whitney! Tara is a girl after my own heart--her brilliant color and beautiful portraits are just captivating. She's really got an amazing style, and obviously has a gift of being able to put people of any age at ease quickly.

I just got this photo from Becker, that he shot yesterday in Cabo where he and Marisa are hanging out for a fantastic wedding for a beautiful couple. Marisa is a perfect example of how a shootsac can make you look extra stylish and fun!

It's a busy time here at Shootsac! Besides it being wedding season for me, we are all kicking butt and cranking out shootsacs and covers as fast as we can make them for our next big email blast next Tuesday! You know what that means...new stuff, exciting improvements, a brand new cool feature on the website, and new featured photographers!
One thing that we've gotten great feedback on is the need to have really good swatches and images of each fabric on the site to make it easier to choose covers. You asked and we hear you! So all the covers are being shot as we speak for maximum accuracy in color and texture so those of you at home can see how beautiful these fabrics really are, since you can't touch them. They will all be up on the site before the next email goes out, so when you get the newsletter, make sure to check the site that day to see the new photos. Check out the sample of "Lavish":

I can't let you in just yet on what's in store for the next couple of months, but the plan is to send an email out once per month. Each one will be either a newsletter with what's new in the store, updates, and that sort of thing, or new fabrics, discounts, specials for owners, and much more! If you aren't on the mailing list yet, go to the top of this blog and click "mailing list" to get your name on there. A newsletter is going out NEXT WEEK, so get on there!
